En Aawa Trees Foundation is proud to announce the expansion of our tree-planting efforts beyond Nigeria. From 26th January to 2nd February, we were in Chad to explore planting trees in Moussoro. This marks a significant step in our commitment to combating desertification across the Sahel region.

In collaboration with Al-Bir Organisation, we visited Moussoro, Chad, where we supported the launch of their newly built orphanage by planting 15 trees—one for each of the first group of children. This initiative symbolises the foundation of a greener future for Moussoro’s next generation.

Building on this momentum, we have committed to planting 1,000 trees throughout Moussoro in the upcoming planting season. This expansion aligns with our long-term vision to restore degraded lands, improve livelihoods, and enhance climate resilience across the Sahel.

As we grow our impact, we invite partners, organisations, and individuals to join us in this mission to create a more sustainable and livable environment for communities on the frontlines of desertification.
